During the first session, my aim is to get a good understanding of your life circumstances and the difficulties you are facing. Together, we then create a constructive plan on how to work towards reducing symptoms and increasing self-awareness, personal growth and well-being.
My work is predominantly based on existential-phenomenological and cognitive-behavioural approaches. These terms refer to my theoretical background and will become clearer during our work together.
A good relationship between the client and the therapist is pivotal to successful therapy. You will work with a therapist who promotes an atmosphere of acceptance, confidentiality and respect. In our sessions, you will be an active participant in your therapy, and we will work together to achieve goals in a way that suits you best.
